Premium RO Flow Restrictor (FR) 450/800 CC | 1/4" Push-Fit Waste Water Controller

₹40.00 0% Off ₹40.00
  • Builds Optimum Pressure: Acts as a barrier on the reject water line, creating the necessary back-pressure inside the membrane housing to force water through the microscopic pores.
  • Reduces Water Wastage: Carefully controls and restricts the flow of wastewater going down the drain, ensuring maximum pure water recovery.
  • Multiple Capacities (CC): Available in perfectly calibrated sizes—450 CC (ideal for 75/80 GPD membranes) and 800 CC (ideal for heavy-duty 100 GPD membranes).
  • Universal 1/4" Push-Fit: Features advanced quick-connect technology. Just push the 1/4-inch waste pipe into both ends for a 100% leak-proof grip.
  • Clog-Resistant Design: Built with a high-quality internal capillary tube that prevents early choking from hard water scaling and dirt.

Product Overview: Think of the Flow Restrictor (FR) as placing your thumb over the end of a water hose. If you let the water flow freely, there is no pressure. But restrict the flow, and pressure builds up instantly. The FR is installed on the wastewater line of your RO. By restricting the escaping water, it forces the Booster Pump's high pressure against the RO Membrane, pushing pure water out.

Why Choose Our Flow Restrictor? Without a working FR, all the water pumped by the motor will simply flow out the reject pipe, and you won’t get a single drop of pure water. Moreover, if an old FR is choked, it will burst the membrane housing. Our premium Flow Restrictors are precisely calibrated to match your membrane's GPD rating, ensuring the perfect balance between pure water production and membrane flushing. Always change your FR when you change your RO Membrane!

Ans: It depends on the capacity of your RO Membrane. For a 75 GPD or 80 GPD membrane, use a 450 CC Flow Restrictor. For a heavy-duty 100 GPD membrane, use an 800 CC Flow Restrictor.

Ans: If you remove the FR, the water will take the path of least resistance. 100% of the water will go down the drain, zero pressure will build up in the housing, and your tank will not fill with pure water at all.

Ans: It has a directional arrow printed on the sticker. You must connect it so the arrow points away from the membrane and towards the kitchen drain. Simply push the 1/4-inch waste pipe into both ends.

Ans: Yes, absolutely! An old FR is often partially clogged with scale and dirt. Using an old FR with a brand new RO membrane will ruin the new membrane very quickly.

Ans: If the wastewater has completely stopped flowing out, but the pump is still running hard, your FR is likely fully blocked. Turn off the machine immediately and replace the FR to avoid bursting the membrane housing.
